Lohninger

 

With the opening of his 3rd gourmet restaurant Mario Lohninger aims to present the delicious taste and flavours of Austrian cuisine and also giving them a seasonable twist to indulge his guests in Frankfurt. Beautifully situated next to the river Main Lohninger has been much beloved by "Tout Frankfurt" since day one.

The menue offers classics like the traditional Wiener Schnitzel, appel strudel and Kaiserschmarrn. Beside that treats dishes like trout strudel, buttom mushrooms,

”Grüner Veltliner” sauce and black cod, smoked consommé, attract fish and meat lovers.

MARIO LOHNINGER - Chef of the year 2011
The Austrian, choosing Frankfurt as his home, cannot be categorised into one specific corner as he is merging his multi cultural influences into a new style, a style of its own. However one thing is for sure: Mario Lohninger creates only delicious and perfectly made dishes with ingredients you cannot find on the menu: heart and soul. The ingredients Lohninger chooses and uses live of their natural aromas and he abandons unnecessary experiments. For his culinary peak perfomance at the silk in Frankfurt he received one Michelin star in 2006. Gault Millau awarded Mario Lohninger as „Chef of the Year 2011“.
