Cocoonclub is a musical nation that exists of many states. Clubmusic and clubbers taste has become so versatile that it is hardly possible to focus on only one or two streams these days. Especially housemusic has become a part of our every day life even for people who have no club history that started in the mid or late 90s. The international main players of housemusic such as David Guetta, Afrojack or the Swedish Housemafia (just to name a few) added elements of mainstream and a commercial touch to the sound with out leaving the actual club context. Some time ago we decided to give this music stream a home at cocoonclub, too and made space on our saturdays for brands and promoters like Envy, Ministry Of Sound and Hed Kandi. Music that you might know from the radio or that you might have heard and seen in tv commercials. However all with an underground twist, hedonistic and always with the intention to celebrate and create a great time in one of the world leading clubs with one of the best sound- and light-set-ups one can found on this planet. Besides this "new house" movement and little journeys into new rave ("Fake" nights) we also present a great r&b and disco/soul night from the very beginning with our resident DJ Katch and his "Delorean" nights on our second floor. One of the best in the city and region to say the least going on strong now for seven years!
