The Green & Blue Open Air on the first September weekend has become a fixed date in the festival schedule for seven years now. Each year towards the end of summer, Sven Väth and his crew have turned the Waldschwimmbad in Obertshausen near Frankfurt into a dream of green meadow, blue water, lots of trees and light installations, ending with a grand final with laser show and fireworks and, above all, being surrounded by music from the best artists that the electronic music scene has to offer. In this year, the second edition of the associated Mix-CD is to be released, mixed by two DJs who are able to revert on both long-time experience and innovation in sound: Tobi Neumann and Onur Özer.
On these two CDs (each DJ is responsible for one mix), the two excellent turntable artists – who, as a team are also known as Sensitiva – are giving an outline of current Techno and TechHouse tracks. In doing so, they don't rely on big names and safe hits only, but also produce some real pearls out of their record case again and again: besides names from the likes of Reboot, Mathias Kaden, Sascha Dive, Tolga Fidan or Daze Maxim, one can also find the young Romanian Dan Andrei, who presents his first international release on the Frankfurt imprint Be Chosen, after having released several records on Arpiar earlier. Also Cécille Records is represented with both well-established artists, such as Reboot, and promising new talents, such as the young Italian Leon. Besides his brand new track "Mare Maris", Onur Özer has also included jewels like Taron Trekka's "Radio Fligg", which has been praised by the German magazine de:bug as "funky, slamming, wide and perfect". In short: an extremely appropriate soundtrack for the upcoming party – don't miss this one!

Summer, sun, salt in the air! Finally, the long cold and grey winter is over. It felt endless, this winter that made the island look so remote. Now it starts again, this anticipation of what the future will bring. The anticipation of the known, but also of the new and unpredictable. And the most important thing: I am not alone! Where are the heroes of the night? You are my hero, I am your hero, all of you are our heroes. Everybody, friends and hands, shamans and magicians. The masters of loudness as well as the many helpers in the background, without whom all this would not be possible. We are one: Cocoon Heroes!
Come on, join the journey, because the island is ready for new heroes! Enjoy the sun, taste the salty air, meet again all the other heroes and embrace new ones. This is the flight into the heart of the beat, the perfect party and the following day in all its beauty. Not from this world – a short utopia – however, one that we are creating – together. With that power, this seemingly unending power of the sun. Let us make use from it, because we can succeed. We, the pirates, the travellers, the dancers and the artists, and all the others who want to get the cold and grey winter off their minds.
A dream? Yes, sure – but one we are able to live, thanks to you. A dream that we create, a dream that we make come true. Together with you!

In recent years, with his international commitments accelerating, Tobi has scaled back his production work to focus on his first love: being a DJ. He is a true veteran in the booth and continues to be invigorated by nightlife, relishing the give & take with the dancefloor, playing techno at house tempo, and house at techno tempo, throwing in unexpected selections, and mixing with his unique signature flair.
